What is the Fashion Club?
The Fashion Club is an educational program designed to equip students with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to thrive in the fashion industry. From design to entrepreneurship, our students learn to create with sustainability in mind while exploring the business side of fashion.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower and inspire the next generation of fashion leaders by providing a transformative platform that combines creativity, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, and real-world mentorship, we equip students with the skills and confidence to innovate responsibly in the fashion industry. By fostering a deep understanding of sustainable practices and the power of design, we aim to shape a community of changemakers who will lead the future of fashion with intention, creativity, and purpose.

A Transformative Partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools
Through our partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools, the Fashion Club is redefining how students engage with fashion and sustainability. Starting at McGavock High School, we are empowering young minds with hands-on experiences in design, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. This collaboration is just the beginning—we look forward to expanding our impact and working with all 12 zoned Academies of Nashville schools, fostering a community of future leaders who are equipped to innovate responsibly and create with purpose. Together, we are shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for the fashion industry and beyond.
Empowering Young Creatives at McGavock High School
Through the Fashion Club at McGavock High School, we are introducing students to hands-on experiences in fashion design, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Meeting biweekly, students are engaged in creative projects such as transforming the school store into a welcoming luxury-inspired boutique, learning to repurpose garments through upcycling challenges, and planning a planning a student-led fashion show to showcase their creativity and teamwork, to gain real-world insight into the business side of fashion. By fostering creativity and innovation, we aim to empower these young minds with the skills and confidence to lead in the future of fashion.
